Snow-covered moments
Today we ’re visiting Robin Hess ’s garden .
I gear up out to try and find somewinter interestin my New Hampshire garden . There is n’t any vibrant colour here inJanuary , but we had snow a few Day ago and I thought some tight - ups might urge on gardeners to look for the wintertime beauty in their gardens .
An azalea ( Rhododendronhybrid , Zones 5–10 ) is dusted with snow , and the leaves have flush red ink in response to the coldness .

A hemlock ( Tsugacanadensis , Zones 3–7 ) branchlet is attractively decorate with ice .
A frog statue is all wrapped up in blow .
The large bud at the end of the theme of a hydrangea ( Hydrangeamacrophylla , Zones 5–9 ) contains the blossom for early next summertime . To deflect cutting off the flowers , you shouldn’tprunehydrangeas this time of twelvemonth .

AThuja(Zones 2–7 ) leg dusted with blow
Taking meter to appear close reveals the looker even in a simply fleet leaf .
