OK , it ’s not about plant , but it is about design . I thought I would share that my Scripture is out , globally now , I think . BEYOND TREND – How To Innovate In An Over - Designed World by Matt Mattus hit ’s the shelves in bookstores and your fav . online book computer storage from Borders toAmazonto Barnes and Noble in the States , toKinokuniyain Japan , and Asia , David and Charlesin the UK , and , well , it seems most major retail merchant from Wal Mart to Target . ( eeek ) .
I guess it ’s great , and it certainly feels overnice to have a summer with some loose weekend ! Although , I am start my horticulture book , which I desire to be unique , modern and dissimilar , so it ’s not like I actually have all of this detached time !
A little about BEYOND TREND .
I was need by the publishers of ID cartridge , HOW clip and PRINT magazine , F & W Publications ( also the publishers of HORTICULTURE now , funnily enough ! ) to publish a book about design trends and the time to come of aim , something that I speak about at design conference , and what I do , at Hasbro , as a Visual Brand Strategist . The result , this little hardcover Koran with over 200 colour images of everything from Sir Norman Foster ’s computer architecture to Zaha Hadid ’s renderings for the 2012 Olympics to Hand travelling bag designer Kate Spade and everything in between . Visual purpose today is becoming boring , as is garden , I must say . We live in a man where we are obsessed with the musical theme of ‘ New ’ , and trend seem to come and go quicker than ever before . As a trend hunting watch , I was being asked , “ what is next ? ” , and after travel the world , I had to say ” not much ” . But that was not the total story .
I hump blueprint , I get it on design , and I was still , make novel . I was still finding some hope , but how could this be ?
BEYOND TREND see my journeying through this realization of uncovering . As I edited the optic sameness searching for the next , raging color . What I discovered surprise me . Maybe you will find the read and the visual drive exciting too .
peradventure you wo n’t even care , but there is an astonishing tie-in between Biology , Philosophy , and purpose . It ’s what we humans , do .
So forgive me for pitching my book on this gardening blog , but I just cogitate that some of you might be interested . After all , works are pretty ocular , too !
