My Modern friend , Charlotte , is   the cutest piglet in the earthly concern .

Over the summer , I write abouta cute fiddling pig I dubbed Petunia , who live in a neighbourhood yard . Well , the other day , whileriding Milagroaround the neighborhood with my friend Michelle , I rode by Petunia ’s business firm to say hello to her . I nearly fell off my horse when I saw the latest edition to the yard . I reckon Petunia was the cutest slob I ’d ever seen — until now . A new piglet , even smaller and cuter , was following Petunia around like a puppy .

I like a shot named her Charlotte , from Charlotte ’s Web , even though Charlotte is really a wanderer in the Scripture and not a sloven . It just seemed fitting .

I called to Charlotte , and she oink at me , jog to the fence , Petunia in towage . As the two pigs strive their snouts through the fence , I could barely curb myself . The cuteness constituent was intimately unendurable ! I jumped off my Equus caballus so I could make link .

Charlotte ’s flavourless fiddling nose poked through the fence at my fingers as I cooed to her . Milagro stood obediently next to me as I crouched down so I could get closer to Charlotte . Never one to leave out a chance to get a good flavor at a strange creature ( once he has determined the creature wo n’t eat him , that is ) , Milagro put his head down to sniffle the little slob .

Charlotte , Petunia and I hung out together for a good five transactions while Michelle , mounted on her gymnastic horse , sit there and grinned . I estimate she had never get word me go gaga like that over any creature , let alone a little grey-haired - and - blank shoat . She seemed punctually amused .

I was n’t the only one who could n’t get enough of this encounter . Charlotte strained against the wrought iron fence trying to get close to me . I reached past her wet schnoz and fray the top of her head . Her hair was thin and coarse — a existent seismic disturbance to the senses when you are used to pet soft critters , like Arabian tea , dogs and horse . I also got a full look at her little cloven hooves . I do n’t have any PET with cloven hoof , so these two - forficate tootsies are quite the bauble for me .

I could have stay at that fence for an minute , bonding even deeper with little Charlotte . But alas , Michelle and I were supposed to be going on a trail ride , not a slob petting expedition . I care picayune Charlotte a good afternoon and mounted Milagro . As we ride off , Charlotte and Petunia trotted back to the heart of the yard to continue what they were doing before we show up .

Since then , I make it a point to rag by that household so I can spy these precious little piggies . I still ca n’t believe I ’ve fallen in love with a couple of oinkers . I ’d never been one for pigs until now . throw me wish I had a fate more infinite on my urban farm so I could add a couple of these adorable porcines to the family .
