Today ’s pic come from Pam Bosse in Wolcott , Connecticut . These are photo from sooner in the year , when her garden was at its summertime peak . So if you are having dreary November weather where you are , take a import to front at these picture and dream of next yr ’s garden !
I have submitted many photograph through previous years ; however , I had n’t sense positive to air in pic for this particular phase of my gardens .
This yr the garden were so beautiful from all the rainwater earlier . There is nothing like the God - given grace of rainwater . Honestly , I can urine and water and body of water again and never get the consequence that rain chip in my gardens .

We had so many Oriental lilies that at every corner you turned , you could reek their vanilla extract spice . Bees and butterfly were so happy with all the blossom that thrived this year . See for yourselves .
This bed is dominated by tall , pale - yellow lilies . These queens of the garden are known for their unbelievable fragrancy , and they do best in fat , well - enfeeble soil and full to fond Sunday . Here they are the maven of the show but are backed up by a bang-up variety of other plant life to make a full-bodied , complex display .
More improbable , fragrantliliesline the driveway . Shorter perennials in the front full complement the tall lilies perfectly .

Blue balloon flowers ( Platycodongrandiflorus , Zones 4–9 ) take middle stage here . This wonderful perennial is ruffianly , adapts to a broad range of conditions , and produces lots of wonderful gentle flowers over a foresightful time of year in the summertime .
A pinkish day lily ( Hemerocallishybrid , Zones 4–9 ) and some intercrossed coneflowers ( Echinaceahybrids , Zones 3–9 ) bring lots of summertime color on easy - to - grow industrial plant .
Pink daylily and blue-blooded balloon flowers make a large team .

await down the street at the riot of colour from an assortment of perennials . It ’s a fete for the eyes , andpollinatorswill love it too .
I would n’t listen drinking in the rich perfume of those lilies every clip I go to get the mail .
