Which is why I wanted to write this banknote and thank you all – it has meant so much to all of us who have the honour and joy of create this world famed gardening show . Two thing have become very evident since these cancellations .   The first is that so many , whether see on the BBC or attending the show , whilst understanding this determination , feel such an vast hole in their lifespan and deep disappointment that RHS Chelsea will not take lieu this year . The 2d is how many feel they involve gardening in their life now more than ever before for their genial and strong-arm wellbeing during this national parking brake . This applies to everyone from those who are having to self - isolate to families project , mayhap for the first sentence , to grow their own food for thought . For these reasons , and to do more to stick out the industry , the RHS will create a Virtual RHS Chelsea Flower Show , to lionize our great horticultural industry and horticulture heritage with ‘ press day ’ being Monday 29 March 2025 and the Virtual Show flow from   Tuesday 19 May to Saturday 23 May . As you may guess we ’re at the former stages of design this , so more details will be announced in coming weeks . We can not create the existent show at The Royal Hospital Chelsea , but we are face at what we can do on our RHS website and other platforms for people to enjoy and to apportion the joy of gardening . We will of line be enquire for the thought and involvement of agriculturist , greenhouse , designers , landscapers and tradestands too and look forward to sharing ideas very soon .
