Citrus limon curd is wildly democratic , but have you ever essay orange curd or birdlime curd ? They are just as special and delightful as lemon , and they can be used in all the same way . Simply fan out citrus curd over toast , scones or hotcake ; mingle into oatmeal or yoghurt ; or use as fruit muddle .
curd can also be used as a pastry filler for fill doughnuts , tarts , cake or cooky . Or , better yet , just eat it by the spoonful as - is for a flavorful dainty !
I have a spectacular recipe for Citrus limon curd in my third book , WECK Home - Preserving . But today I ’m partake my adaptation of that recipe to make orange curd .
