Of all of the Home & Garden project we ’ve make and featured on the blog over the years , there is petty doubt that our DIY wine rack have been one of the more popular .

At the time , we did n’t realize just how popular it would become with friends and phratry too . So democratic , in fact , we began building them as gifts . It really is a merriment project to create , and one in which you could allow your creativity go free .

Over the years , using the same simple building cognitive process , we have craft DIY wine-coloured racks of all sizes . And out of all sort of wood as well , including cerise , oak tree , pine , walnut , barn woodwind and more .

Creating A Classic 20 Bottle / 12 Glass DIY Wine Rack

The main body of the wine wrack is make by construct a series of very ladders using the legs and rungs . Each ladder is made from ( 2 ) legs and ( 5 ) rungs , and sequester quick with a nail gun .

The ravel fit together with a top and bottom frame piece to make the stand . As they go together , the ladder spacing is set at 3.5″ , which is the perfect side for holding a standard 750ml wine-colored bottle . Even well , it is also the gross spacing for wine chalk too !

One thing we love about the top is that it leaves so much way for personalizing . We use live edge , wood slabs , pine panels , metal and more to make all kinds of usage tops .

They really do make the perfect natural endowment . So much so that we have since made a tradition of giving one to each of our children when they move into their first flat or home . Kind of an sure-enough take on lapse down heirloom furniture so to speak !
