Radishes are some of the firstseeds I direct sowin spring . To me , they signify the kickoff of a raw growing time of year . I really enjoygrowing radishesbecause they are ready for harvest relatively rapidly ( typically within three to five week ) and there are many option to choose from — more than 100 assortment ! radish vary by form , colouring , size and savour , so it ’s fun to prove different type each year .
My hubby and girl take they do n’t like daikon , but I found a manner to prepare them that they both hump . daikon run to have a spicy kick that some multitude do n’t relish . However , I ’ve noticed that roasting and ferment them dulls that peppery lick .
I developed this fermented radish salsa recipe that ’s now a crew favorite , loved by even my hubby and daughter . A incentive of fermenting radishes ? You get theprobiotic benefits . Serve this salsa as you would any other ( on tacos , with cow dung , over eggs and so on ) . Our absolute preferent way to enjoy it is generously spooned over steak tacos , with some crumbled queso fresco and unfermented lime — YUM !

Fermented Radish SalsaRecipe
