Despite it’s age, this garden is filled to the brim with blooms at all angles
Hi GPODers !
While most gardener would waffle to ever say their garden is “ done , ” that does n’t mean it takes old age and year to produce something striking . Today ’s garden epitomizes that theory , as Dot Lenahan ’s space is still very new , but already bountiful .
I live in suburban Philadelphia and this garden is three years old . This yr the roses and clematis were awing and the roses on the archway are Kiss Me Kate ™ (Rosa‘KORnagelio ’ , Zones 5–9)(along with the Banksia integrifolia ) . Our pawl Jack is render search one of the seating area uncommitted to watch the birds and admire the garden ’s beauty . Thanks , Dot Lenahan

It ’s really a wonder that this was make in three short old age ! Aside from the Kiss Me Kate ™ pink wine and honeysuckle — potentially the variety ( Lonicerapericlymenum‘Scentsation ’ , Zones 4–9 ) based on the pale yellow color — there are sempiternal blooms to be realize from nearly every slant .
A fabulous model of Dot ’s success with clematis this yr , this ‘ Ashva ’ ( Clematis‘Ashva ’ , Zones 4–9 ) bloom is delineation thoroughgoing !
Full , but also full of chance . back breaker ’s garden is already satisfy with gorgeous plantings , but still has muckle of room for more additions and for existing works to continue to senesce .

Nothing is more essential in a garden with a people of go up flora than a multitude of stable structures for them to mount on . All of these trellis , arch , and fences serve as nifty support and protection for plants , but they also create these amazing little windows to few her works through . One such scuttle creates the perfect viewing vena portae for a perfectly pinkish clematis .
Finally , Dot ’s adorable heel Jack getting to revel this flower - filled space !
Thank you for sharing your telling garden advancement with us , Dot ! It ’s definitely inspire me to give a second thought in what can be achieve in three little years , in the garden and out .
