And not just any Koran enlistment … but The CSA Cookbook Road Trip , where I ’m hittin ’ the road for 6 weeks and 10,000 mile , going coast to slide ( double ! ) to propagate the message of good food to good people .

Honestly , I wish I had 6monthsfor something like this , as I ’ll hardly be skimming the surface of this great country despite all those nautical mile . In sum , I ’ll be pee-pee 14 tour stops with my co - machine driver and adventurer - in - crime , Will ( you might know him asThe CSA Cookbookphotographer and , of row , Mr. Garden Betty ) . But all recount , we ’ll be make multiple stoppage along the direction and I just . ca n’t . wait !

The book tour begins in my hometown of Las Vegas , and from there we ’ll keep heading east to Denver and Austin . If you subsist in one of these cities , I sincerely hope we get to fit and chaffer at my approaching events !

For the journeying , I ’ll be putting the2015 Kia Sedona MPVto the ultimate driving mental test . I ’m talking interior scenic byways , back roads , and farm roads … hundreds of hours on asphalt and rile and in all likelihood a footling dirt , too . I ’ve never taken a Sedona on an escapade before ( which Kia bills as a multi - purpose vehicle , mind you , nota minivan ) , so by the end of this book tour , we ’ll see how it stacks up against an SUV .
